Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

definition

Mesotherapy is an aesthetic treatment consisting of locally administering a vitamin cocktail based on hyaluronic acid and active ingredients in the form of micro-injections, using fine needles on the entire face.

This molecule, hyaluronic acid, naturally present in the body, is responsible for hydrating the dermis.

Over the years, the body produces less hyaluronic acid, the dermis gradually dehydrates, and the skin becomes loose.

Mesotherapy offers an effective anti-aging treatment.

During mesotherapy treatment, Dr. Philippe Kestemont, a specialist in aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine of the face and neck in Nice, will carefully examine the faces of his patients in order to determine their individual needs and thus offer the best results in complete safety.

The injection technique used during mesotherapy treatment is called superficial, meaning that its depth is between 0.1 and 2 mm below the dermis. The treatment is local and not very painful.

As an anti-aging treatment, mesotherapy treats the phenomenon of skin sagging. The tissues are regenerated, the relaxed areas are smoothed, and the lines of the face, neck, and décolleté are subtly tightened. A burst of radiance is then offered to the dermis, which is rehydrated. The skin regains all its elasticity, lost until now.

The facial features are relaxed, nourished, and deeply revitalized thanks to mesotherapy.

Number of sessions

In order to fully appreciate the long-lasting moisturizing and toning benefits of mesotherapy treatment, it is recommended to have three sessions spaced approximately fifteen days apart at the office of Dr. Philippe Kestemont, a specialist in aesthetic medicine for facial and neck repair, based in Nice.

A session 1 month later, as well as a mesotherapy session every 3 to 4 months for maintenance, will ensure the best results.

Continuation of treatment

After mesotherapy treatment, only a few redness may appear.

These disappear quickly within a few hours following mesotherapy treatment.
